Meggerie Brown was born in Alice Springs on 22/5/1967.

She is an emerging artist from Lajamanu, Northern Territory (NT) although currently lives in Katherine with her husband and children.

Many are drawn to Meggeries paintings for her imagery and use of colors. She meticulous when creating her art and takes much care and time to finish. Ensuring each dot is perfect when placed onto her canvas.

Meggerie is a well-respected member of the Katherine arts community and is heavily involved with Mimi Aboriginal Art and Craft, and Katherine Regional Arts Centre (KRA).
