Peggy Rockman

Peggy Rockman

Peggy Rockman is a Lajamanu woman who now makes her home in Katherine.  She is custodian for several stories and ceremonies.  Peggy is also an important ceremony and law woman in the Warlpiri Culture.  She dances in many places throughout her country and also has danced interstate and overseas.

Peggy speaks several Aboriginal Languages and is reasonably fluent in English.

She is co-author (with Lee Cataldi) of a book “Yimikirli—Warlpiri Dreamings and Histories”.
