Jeanie Daniels

Jeanie was born at Mt Doreen Station and came as a little baby to Yuendumu. Yuendumu is Warlpiri country and Anmatjira country. But her grandfather and also her grandmother comes from Mina Mina near the WA boarder. Yuendumu is where her mother Sarah Daniels taught her painting and is also where she went to school.

Jeanie went to live with her husband and two sons in Lajamanu before she moved to Katherine where she currently lives. Jeanie is an emerging artists who has been painting for Mimi for about 4 years. She paints the same stories that her mother painted and is becoming more confident in her work.
